LSCS Scar
LSCS Scar
LSCS (Lower Segment Caesarean Section) scars are caused by the surgical incision made on the lower segment of the uterus during a caesarean delivery. The incision is then closed with sutures or staples, which eventually heal into a scar.
In some cases, the scar may heal well and become barely noticeable, while in other cases, it may become raised, thick, or discolored, leading to a visible scar. Other factors that can affect the appearance of an LSCS scar include the woman's age, skin type, and any underlying medical conditions.
What we do
treatments we provide.
Our state-of-the-art treatments can help reduce the appearance of keloid scars and improve skin texture.
Steroid injections
This helps to reduce inflammation and flatten the scar by breaking down the excess collagen that forms the keloid. The treatment involves injecting a small amount of corticosteroid medication directly into the keloid. Multiple injections may be needed over several months to achieve the desired results.
Genius RF (Radiofrequency)
Treatment that uses micro-needles to deliver RF energy to the deeper layers of the skin. This energy helps to remodel and tighten the skin, while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin.
LaseMD
Laser treatment that uses fractional laser technology to target the deeper layers of the skin. This treatment helps to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, which can help to improve the appearance of keloid scars. The addition of PRP can also help to enhance the effectiveness of the treatment.
Healite therapy
A non-invasive treatment that uses LED light therapy to promote healing and rejuvenation in the skin. While Healite therapy may help to improve the appearance of keloid scars, it is not typically used as a standalone treatment for keloid removal.
