After the age of 20, there is about 1 percent less production of collagen in the skin each year which reduce firmness and suppleness. An unbalanced diet, smoking, and sun exposure can cause wrinkles. In addition, repeatedly showing the same facial emotion, such as smiling, frowning, or squinting, can cause wrinkles on certain parts of the face.

Yes, some common side effects of acne scar treatment include redness, swelling, itching, and peeling of the skin. More serious side effects, such as scarring or changes in skin pigmentation, are also possible but rare.
